Writing Samples for Ingrid Nolandeau

'' Oh, it is possible, youngster. They don’t want anyone to read it, but I know where to find the code. I'm too old to get it, but you could. We could work together on deciphering it. What do you think? ''

Humans or Aliens Storyboard Concept

RPG game concept for a game with multiple endings
and player autonomy

THOMAS

Why are you doing this Ingrid?

INGRID

Because they are right. Humans are only good to destroy the planet and be selfish assholes. I hate them and I hate myself for ever believing that humanity was good. At least the aliens are not rejecting me and laughing at me for trying.

THOMAS

At least they are right about you: You are selfish. You are the problem with humanity. You will perish with the aliens.

Ingrid Nolandeau

Ingrid is the type of child that grew up too fast. She got used to the cruelty of the world by the negligent treatment of her parents.

Her favourite coping mechanism is escapism; books, history, anything will do if it could make her forget her own existence.

Ingrid never made any real friends, no real connections with others. She was bullied all her life, even in college. She claims her solitude with pride and would not admit to the pain it causes her. Her greatest quality is intelligence, and if isolation was the cost for it, so be it.

Determined to be the greatest archeologist of the century, Ingrid grew more interested in ancient civilizations, convinced that she would discover a new one; a society erased by time.

It's probably why she got so obsessed with a mysterious tablet at her local museum: a stone covered in glyphs that no one was ever capable of deciphering. If someone could make sense of her: it was her.
